In Vancouver you can probably get Mexican cinnamon in a lot of places. Latin markets etc. I bought some at a little Salvadorian restaurant that had a couple shelves of groceries. Also it is mostly grown in Sri Lanka, so you might find it at stores that sell Sri Lankan food. From a quick google this place on Barnett Hwy says they sell it, although the photo is of cassia. Not sure if we’ll be able to buy it here. The ground stuff seems more available than whole.
This flavor of the pork spice was a big revelation for me, it was super unique at the time and I was like daaaamn, i thought i knew all the flavors, nope.
